Shanna was doing freelance design work and social media marketing for local businesses. Kim was working in the advertising field for a large corporation. Both women knew they wanted to run their own business but independently, they were lacking skill sets.
In early 2015, Kim and Shanna met to discuss their entrepreneurial ideals and backgrounds. It was an indisputable match! Kim brought 20+ years of sales, marketing and management from the advertising and pharmaceutical industries. Shanna, already a proven successful entrepreneur, providing amazing graphic design and social media expertise. Shortly thereafter, Skigital LLC was up and running. What started as a small local business has quickly become a growing, thriving and recommended marketing agency. Partners, Kim and Shanna have created a trusted agency for businesses small and large almost overnight!

Overview
Family-owned since 2006, Limoncello Ristorante and Catering has become one of Chester County's most recognized names, providing traditional and authentic Italian cuisine, along with specialty and customized dishes. Their mission is to provide extraordinary authentic Italian cuisine in a family-friendly environment, consistently putting their guests first in everything they do. Mother's Day Gift Card Sale
Objectives
The goal was to promote Limoncello’s annual Mother’s Day gift card sale, with 15% off all gift card purchases. Skigital aimed to surpass the prior year's sales and focused on a strategic marketing campaign that involved email marketing, a paid Facebook ad, and social media posts.
Process
Skigital regularly creates one email per month for Limoncello. For the gift card promotion, we chose to do two emails throughout the month of April to promote the gift card sale. We created a visually appealing message in both emails, with links to take you right to the discounted gift card page. We also created one Facebook ad and five unique social media posts for both Limoncello locations, as well as added a pop-up notification about the sale to Limoncello’s website. The time frame for our marketing campaign was April 14th - May 8, 2022 (Mother’s Day).

Conclusion
Skigital’s 2022 Mother’s Day gift card sale promotion for Limoncello had more than doubled the previous year’s sales. Our strategic marketing campaign enabled us to get the message to consumers without overloading them with too many posts, emails, or ads. It is important to understand your client’s demographic and know which platforms to promote on, and when to do so.
As Skigital continues to promote various gift card sales for Limoncello, we will utilize the data above and assess what worked best and what we can improve upon. Our goal is to exceed customer expectations, which is what we will continue to do year after year.

Process
We combined our current marketing services for Limoncello and our limited-time-only Skigital Holiday Bundle for the gift card promotions. Our bundle offer included the ability to choose from additional Skigital services tailored to the client’s holiday marketing needs. These services were executed depending on the length of each promotion. We created visually appealing and informative graphics for social media, email marketing, and paid ads, with links to take you right to the corresponding discounted gift card pages. We also added a pop-up notification about the sales to Limoncello’s website.
