Shanna was doing freelance design work and social media marketing for local businesses. Kim was working in the advertising field for a large corporation. Both women knew they wanted to run their own business but independently, they were lacking skill sets.
In early 2015, Kim and Shanna met to discuss their entrepreneurial ideals and backgrounds. It was an indisputable match! Kim brought 20+ years of sales, marketing and management from the advertising and pharmaceutical industries. Shanna, already a proven successful entrepreneur, providing amazing graphic design and social media expertise. Shortly thereafter, Skigital LLC was up and running. What started as a small local business has quickly become a growing, thriving and recommended marketing agency. Partners, Kim and Shanna have created a trusted agency for businesses small and large almost overnight!

EMSA offers in-depth information about health conditions and concerns for horses and professional care recommendations. Dr. Frank Reilly has over 30 years of veterinarian experience and is available to answer questions and give his customers a personalized experience with his products to meet their horses' needs.

Objectives
Dr. Reilly wanted to reach his diverse and dedicated customers through a direct and informative channel that would keep them updated on new products, in-depth information, and updates. Email marketing aims to keep customers informed and satisfied with EMSA’s products and services, creating a loyal and repeat customer base.
Process
Skigital creates three emails per month for EMSA. The first email consistently serves as a monthly reminder to customers for free shipping when they place an order above $120. The second and third emails contain, in-depth information on seasonally appropriate products, highlights the latest blog, new product updates, and more. The contents of each email are written, designed, and coded by the Skigital team and approved by Dr. Reilly before being sent out each month. All emails contain clickable links to the EMSA website or social media, captivating photos, and engaging copy.
Conclusion
Throughout this 3-month time frame, we see a fluctuating number of subscribers, which resulted in an overall increase in subscribers which meets our goal of growing a loyal customer base. We also see that almost 20% of EMSA’s revenue over this time came from their email subscribers placing their orders by clicking on the links in the emails. Over ¼ of EMSA’s total number of orders also came from customers clicking the links in the emails.

As Skigital continues to provide email services for EMSA, we can use this data to increase business from previous customers further. The email structure we use for EMSA has successfully established trust between customers and businesses, making EMSA products and services repetitively desirable.
